“Upper Room, Unveiled’ sought to capture the sacred stillness of the moment Christ revealed Himself in the breaking of bread. Sculpted entirely in plaster, the work unveils the divine presence hidden within simplicity, just as faith unveils grace within the ordinary. The plaster drapery represents both reverence and revelation, with the veil gently drawn back to invite the viewer into the mystery of the Last Supper. As the bread is broken, so too is the veil between heaven and earth, and Christ reveals Himself as the living gift of love. Each carved detail was shaped prayerfully, guided by the grace of God and the quiet rhythm of devotion. Through the medium of plaster—fragile yet enduring—I express the human soul’s longing for communion with the eternal. This piece is not only a reflection of the sacred Last Supper, but a testimony of faith formed by hand and heart, revealing how Christ continues to unveil himself among us, humbly, in the upper room of every believer.” — Rochelle, StudioR
