“Sculpted entirely by hand, through Gods grace, I translated the intricate details of the original Miraculous Medal into the worlds first ever one-meter plaster sculpture of the Miraculous Medal through the use of plaster of Paris and Venetian plaster imported from Italy. An artistic masterpiece that required prayerful recalculating proportions, refining textures, and preserving the sacred integrity of each symbol. The raised sculpture of Mary, the surrounding 12 stars, the rays of grace, the Latin inscription, all demanded a heightened level of precision. The large one meter surrounding oval becomes an architectural frame with the sacred Latin inscription, lettering follows the curvature of the form. This has been sculpted in preparation for the Solemn Novena of the Miraculous Medal which begins on November 19th - 27th, in preparation for the Feast of the Miraculous Medal on November 27 and the Feast of St. Catherine of Laboure on November 28. This sculpture invites an immersive spiritual encounter for Mother Mary to overlook and protect your entire home as she says “graces will abound” from those who honor the Miraculous Medal.” — Rochelle, StudioR
