The Red Sea

“This work is a meditation on the parting of the Red Sea, a moment where fear met faith and the impossible opened at God’s command. The sweeping plaster textures echo the violent beauty of divided waters, suspended between chaos and deliverance and at the centre, a narrow passage emerges, a sacred threshold carved by divine authority. The roughness speaks of turmoil as the still vertical axis embodies unwavering presence. Through the white texture, I honour both judgment and mercy, destruction and salvation as it is a remembrance that when the path seems consumed by waves, God makes a way — not around the waters, but through them.”
